Performance events and workshops are taken into schools to illustrate key messages about communication. To support the scheme, a website (www.bt.com/futuretalk/education) was set up containing a gallery section with pictures and quotes from the performances, encouraging children to interact with the technology. Schools were given the opportunity to build their own site using a template provided by BT. The programme is on course to reach its target of visiting 3,500 schools by July 2001.
