If you can’t stand the heat…

Hotbox.co.uk, the website for big boy’s toys and gadgets, has been forced to change its name.

Apparently, too many punters were being waylaid by the similarly named website Hotbox.com, which offers, among other dubious treats, a “mammoth nippleodeon” (apparently). Yes, it is, of course, a site for rather more unsavoury big boys’ toys.

The relaunched Hotbox.co.uk site, featuring a bizarre collection of gadgets including a mini amplifier which fits inside a cigarette packet and a push-along toy scooter for grown men, goes by the far more wholesome name of Firebox.co.uk.

A brief session on The Diary’s creaking old search engine failed to yield any matches at all on the new name, while a search on Hotbox unearthed an ad for a fearsome looking piece of equipment called an Asphalt Hotbox and Mr Humble’s steam whistle museum.

What with Mr Humble and the porn babes it’s no wonder they changed their name.
