MMXI Europe’s new figures reveal that one in four people using the Net are visiting business and finance sites. In March 2000, more than 2.5 million people went to a business and finance site. The most popular sites, according to the MMXI Europe data include traditional banking brands such as Barclays, First Direct, Lloyds, Nationwide, Natwest and Halifax, as well as new brands, such as Egg.com.
