Having put a couple of decades between us and the Seventies, you would have thought it was at long last safe to turn on your TV and not be faced with perma-tanned, giggling Stuart “It’s a Knockout” Hall. Well, you’d be right. Phew!

This time his “hilarious” commentating will be put to good use for – yes, you guessed it – the Euro 2000 final, on Powernet Telecom’s

Probably suitable if you find football more of a giggle than a religion. Just don’t expect any giant babies wobbling up and down the pitch (Gazza doesn’t play for England any more).
