House builder Bryant Homes is reviewing its &£2m advertising business out of Wallis Tomlinson.

The company, which is using the services of the AAR, has drawn up a shortlist which includes the incumbent, Lowe Lintas and two other, undisclosed, London agencies.

The pitch is being overseen by Bryant Homes group marketing director Lorraine Morrissey.

Morrissey says: “We review every couple of years and Wallis Tomlinson has retained the business for the past two reviews. But we were aware that we have not seen any London agencies recently. “

Morrissey said she expected to make a decision by the middle of next month.

Bryant recently launched The Design Service, which aims to cater for individual choice, rather than selling houses with standard specifications. Bryant Homes builds homes at 120 locations across the UK. It constructs almost 4,000 homes a year as well as developing inner-city luxury apartments.

Two weeks ago, Berkeley Homes, Bryant’s rival, launched a &£1.5m advertising campaign, created by AMD and bought by Carat. It is the first time a house builder has advertised on TV since the Barratt’s campaigns of the Eighties.
