Welsh top scorers on soccer bets

Love football? Happen to be Welsh? Then go ahead and make football bets online, because thy shall surely win.

But doomed are all those online gamblers living in Northern Ireland, East Anglia and Scotland – for they shall be the UK’s unluckiest punters.

According to a new study of 25,000 soccer-mad punters put together by Totalbet.com, the online betting arm of Tote, the Welsh make most profit on their football bets along with those from London and the North-west.

Inverness tops the list of successful online betting towns, although Scotland as a whole is among the unluckiest regions for football punters. Down on their luck gamblers from the areas with the least success – Jersey, Perth, Ilford, Hereford and Motherwell – might consider a move to luckier places like Swansea, Bromley and Wolverhampton.
