MSN, Microsoft’s consumer Web service and one of the most visited online destinations, launches its new MSN shopping service this week. Retail partners include Marks & Spencer, WH Smith, Mothercare and Comet, among more than 40 other high street names. MSN says the service has been redesigned to reflect the “continued strategic importance of e-commerce to MSN”. It will incorporate several new features that offer MSN’s partners “the most progressive retailing platform on the Web”. MSN also unveils its new Health Channel this week, with information supplied by US medical specialist WebMD.
