Disgust at More Group’s fat tenner

For years, the outdoor industry has been acutely aware of the need to clean up its image. But the Diary has learned that some habits are evidently too hard to break.

One irate poster specialist rang the Diary to voice his outrage over a mailing from More Group Ireland.

Not only did it come attached with a £10 note, it was inviting him on a freebie trip to Ireland. This he said, was “just a step too far”. He assured the Diary he would be donating the money to charity.

Obviously, the More Group can’t be an old hand at the back-handers game, or it would know that £10 doesn’t go very far these days.
