IPC Media has appointed the man who launched Dennis Publishing’s Maxim as publishing director for its lads’ titles, Loaded, Later and Loaded Fashion.
Eric Fuller – who has most recently been working as a consultant for Dennis and I Feel Good (IFG), the company set up by former Loaded editor James Brown – joins IPC next month.
He joined Dennis in 1994 from EMAP, where he had been publisher of Drapers Record and Menswear. At Dennis he also launched Stuff and Ministry. He left in March.
Fuller will report to IPC Music & Sport managing director Mike Soutar, and will work alongside publishing director Robert Tame, who is in charge of music titles, including Uncut, Melody Maker and NME.
The appointment coincides with IPC relaunching its flagship listings magazine TV Times, with increased pagination to cover 60 channels – compared with the 40 previously covered – including digital coverage.
The new-look title will go on sale on October 3 and will also include a revamped “Insider” section, divided into three areas – TV news, TV gossip and TV style.
The relaunch will be supported by a radio, direct mail and poster campaign.
Editor-in-chief Peter Genower says: “With so many of our readers converting to digital TV, the time is right for TV Times to join the revolution. We have brought the title up to date with a design and content to meet the needs of the modern TV audience.”
