Johnson & Johnson has appointed Stefano Curti to the new role of European marketing director for its Neutrogena brand.

Johnson & Johnson has appointed Stefano Curti to the new role of European marketing director for its Neutrogena brand.

Curti was previously European marketing manager for the Johnson & Johnson brand pH5.5.

Curti will be responsible for the Neutrogena range of products across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Curti says: “I will be looking after the equity development of the brand, as well as its positioning in the market and product development.”

He says a new ad campaign for the brand will break in the first quarter of 2001. The work will be handled by the brand’s agency, BMP DDB Europe.

Curti will be based in the UK and will report to the US based vice-president of the company, Georgio Garinois.

Formerly, overall responsibility for Neutrogena in Europe was handled by Cathy Heseltine, who has taken up a new position as a brand business development director for Johnson & Johnson.

The Neutrogena brand includes skincare products and the Neutrogena T/Gel hair-care range. There are plans to extend the range with additional product launches later this year.
