Tesco has topped the first UK Internet Supermarket Scorecard, produced by US-based website quality measurement company Gomez. The scorecard is based on Gomez’s research into e-grocery sites, examining areas such as customer adoption and integration of e-tailing strategies. Sainsbury’s and Foodferry.com followed Tesco in the rating. The highest rated sites offered the most robust online capabilities, widest product selection and home delivery.
