Greenpeace and Friends united

Your editorial “Cause enough to bend the rules?” (MW September 28) wrongly assumes that Friends of the Earth considers Greenpeace to have gone too far in its dealings with companies. Simply because we have chosen to take different approaches does not automatically mean that we disagree, nor does it mean that one approach is more valid than the other. The interview I gave to your journalist made this abundantly clear. Leaping to the wrong conclusion in this way does damage to your otherwise strong coverage of an important discussion that is high on the list of issues presently being considered by many non-governmental organisations.
