Smelly breath unites Europe

Europeans may be divided over the adoption of the Euro or about the need for common tax policies, but when it comes to more everyday matters – like having oral hygiene – there is almost universal unity.

Because, according to a new survey by marketing information group Taylor Nelson Sofres, only 12 per cent of Europeans feel the need to use a mouthwash – and only seven per cent floss their teeth once a week.

All of which should reinforce Eurosceptics’ claims that the EU is in desperate need of a breath of fresh air.
