Because a new WAP text messaging service can now tell prospective mothers when they are at their most fertile.
The scheme, run by WAP company Brainstorm and EMAP Publishing’s website motherandbaby.co.uk, automatically sends a text message to both partners to make sure they are in the right place, at the right time.
Women are told “It’s time to get into bed – the next four days are your most fertile”, while men are informed that “tonight’s the night”. Whatever happened to acting on impulse?
