Each in a league of their own

I write in reply to Joanna Berry’s letter about BE Studios, not Freeloader, being the first to launch an episodic Internet drama (MW November 9).

Clearly no one invented the word episodic. However, Freeloader.com believes that Halcyon Sun is the product that will make people stand up and take notice.

BE Studios approached us some time ago about providing content for the site. However, we feel that its idea of mass-market entertainment and ours are very different. A cursory examination of the two products would make this apparent.

Halcyon Sun is a combination of beautiful TV, video and fully-playable “as-good-as-you-can-buy” video game. Nothing similar to this exists.

As spokesperson for Free loader.com, I do not believe that Halcyon Sun and the products pro duced by BE Studios are comparable.
