Unilever has reshuffled its marketing team at Elida Fabergé, bringing in Van den Bergh’s business group director, Jacqui Davies, to head its UK marketing division.

Davies will take over responsibility for the marketing of all Elida Fabergé brands, including Lynx, Dove, and Sure in the UK from Steve Mills.

Mills will concentrate on his role as brand development director for the European deodorants category, which has been expanded to include market strategy development and target setting for all European markets.

Davies says: “I have been involved with Unilever’s big food brands at Van den Bergh before, so personal care is a new departure. I hope to bring a fresh perspective to Elida’s many great brands.”

Davies’ responsibilities at Van de Bergh will be absorbed into the company’s existing structure, following its merger with Best Foods.

Lever Brothers and Elida Fabergé announced two other boardroom appointments with immediate effect.

Simon Marshall, currently customer development director for Elida Fabergé, will extend his responsibility to include sister company Lever Brothers. He replaces Graeme Miller who has been appointed chairman of Lever Fabergé Nordic.

Geoff Fulford has been appointed logistics director for both Lever and Elida Fabergé. He was previously works director for Elida’s Seacroft factory in Leeds.
