Inspiration in the workplace

What do advertising agencies Mother, M&C Saatchi and Walsh Trott Chick Smith have in common?

No, not the fact that they all have the letter “m” in their name.

All of the aforementioned companies have made it into the elite ranks of the UK’s most creative working environment list – drawn up by digital office technology company Gestetner in cahoots with The Times, along with such luminaries as Design Council chairman Christopher Frayling and Geoffrey Reid Associates architect Paul Warner.

Apparently, the agencies are among the most “visually-exciting, functionally-efficient” places to work in the country.

The Diary can only hope the agencies’ clients say the same of their work.
