The 20-second ads, which break on Monday (November 27), are a continuation of the “I Saw This and Thought of You” campaign and show Smillie buying a La Perla bra and sending it by post to Dimmock. Green-fingered Dimmock puts the bra to use as a hanging flower basket.

The TV ads were created by Bates UK Limited and will be supported by a nationwide poster campaign in the first two weeks of December. Media buying is through Carat.

Jim Cotton-Betteridge, Royal Mail managing director for business and consumer markets, says: “Charlie and Carol bring a new twist to a very popular theme, which I am sure our customers will enjoy.”
