I wanted to clarify your news item “&£7m Army recruitment up for grabs” (MW November 7).

Despite a clear statement from me to Marketing Week that this review does not involve the national account held by Saatchi & Saatchi and that the budget is still being finalised, you ran a piece quoting the budget as &£7m and showed a still from a Saatchi commercial captioned “Creative account shake-up”.

Both the Army Recruiting Group and COI Communications are committed to Saatchi & Saatchi as the agency of choice for national recruitment advertising.
