Swatch teacher sent to Coventry

Some people will nick anything. Watch company Swatch’s educational programme has been strapped by the theft of one-half of its teaching team, known as Flik Flak.

Flik, who travels the length and breadth of the country helping kids to learn about time, was abducted from the back of a car in Coventry.

West Midlands Police are on the hunt for the missing Flik, with partner Flak reportedly distraught at his disappearance. Swatch says Flik is seven-foot tall, with yellow, spiky hair and a cheeky smile.

Anyone with information can call the police on 0121 626 5000.

The Diary hopes the callous criminals will end up doing time.
