Liberal Democrats reveal election slogan

The Liberal Democrats have revealed that the party’s election slogan will be ‘A real chance for real change’. The slogan appears for the first time on a poster created by banc, which features a map of Britain with much of the country shaded in the Liberal Democrats’ distinctive yellow and the strapline: ‘If you thought the Lib Dems could win in your area, this is how you’d vote’. The map highlights polling evidence by MORI which shows that, if voters believe that the Liberal Democrats can win their constituency, then voting intention would be as follows: Lib Dems 36 per cent, Labour 36 per cent and Conservatives 23 per cent. If people voted as they indicated in the poll, the regional swing analysis by MORI suggests that the Liberal Democrats would win 216 seats. The map would turn gold if people voted with the belief that Lib Dems could win locally.
