Virgin brings down the curtain

London’s Oxford Street got a bit steamy when Virgin Megastores revealed a live window display for Nookii, a new game for couples.

The game is supposed to spice up one’s love life with the aid of suggestion cards, a pair of dice and a timer. But the store had to, er, lay off the two semi-naked young actors who acted out the game on a revolving bed in the window after only a day, instead of the planned four days.

The bedroom scene was considered to be just too raunchy for the high street. The large crowd blocking the footpath outside the shop would seem to indicate otherwise.
