Flashback TV, the production company developing the series, is on the lookout for inspiration, and the Diary feels it need look no further than the strange world of advertising.
At the top of the pile for staff contentment must surely be St Luke’s, where you can play snooker and work in a room to suit your mood. Staff at the agency have no excuse for popping out for a sandwich – they can stuff themselves with organic meals from the staff kitchen.
But spare a thought for the poor workers at Faulds in Edinburgh. When creative director and Keith Moon-wannabe Billy Mawhinney feels stressed, he takes it out on his office drum kit. The Diary hears that he emerges from these sessions fully revitalised – unlike the staff downstairs.
