Computer giant Hewlett-Packard (H-P) is launching a $50m (&£35m) pan-European advertising campaign featuring some of the company’s employees. The ads, which have been created by US agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, aim to remind people that H-P does not only make printers and PCs but is also involved in developing wireless devices, servers and software. The TV and print campaign, which will run in the UK, France and Germany from Friday (March 23) builds on last autumn’s ‘Invent’ ads featuring H-P chief executive Carly Fiorina. H-P brand advertising manager, Julia Mee, says: ‘By using real H-P employees we’re highlighting the breadth of expertise across a whole range of technologies and that inventiveness runs deep within H-P.’
