Freeserve has started taking advertising on the opt-in e-mail newsletters sent to its 2 million subscribers each month. Among the first advertisers are LetsBuyIt.com, FT.com and AssertaHome. Freeserve has also started to sell ads on e-mails sent to subscribers of its UK-iNvest, FSAuctions, Smartgroups, 5 Star Shareware and e-commerce newsletters.
