Your story “ITV2 seeks its first ad agency” (MW March 8) may have misled your readers into thinking that ITV2 is seeking a creative advertising agency. This is not the case. We will be appointing an agency to develop a new on-air identity and to refresh our on-air look. HHCL remains ITV’s roster agency, responsible for the creation of ITV’s off-air advertising campaigns. Your assertion that ITV2’s programming has so far been made up of repeats of ITV is also well wide of the mark. ITV2 has produced and acquired original programming since its launch and will continue to do so.
