The Patten of tiny feet at M&C

The Diary hears congratulations are in order for chief executive of M&C Saatchi Sponsorship Matthew Patten, after wife Lucy gave birth to a baby girl, Livvy.

The couple already have three sons: Henry, four; Arthur, three; and two-year-old Louis.

An agency source says: “They are both over the moon, but it has been a bit hectic for Matthew.

“They couldn’t decide on a name for several days after Livvy’s birth.”

The Diary hears Matthew jokingly considered calling his daughter after a railway station on his way to work when his wife set him a deadline for finding her name. It’s unclear which route Patten takes, but Livvy may have had a lucky escape if he travels from south-east London.

“Penge” Patten has got a certain ring to it, but the Diary’s glad Livvy’s dad came up with a name on time.
