Household and toiletry goods company Kimberly-Clark has promoted vice-president of UK, Ireland, Belgium and Holland Ian Jones to vice-president of customer management for Northern Europe. Jones’ remit will now include Germany, and Scandinavian countries.
Jones, who is responsible for the entire consumer business and brands, will continue reporting to president for customer management Europe Ron Huggins, who has also been promoted from president for customer management Northern Europe.
The UK consumer general manager Paul Bournazian, who has been promoted from customer management project leader, will report to Ian Jones.
Jones says: “These promotions within Kimberly-Clark’s European structure form part of the company’s determination to be a customer focused organisation. We are moving away from traditional sales and marketing roles to customer-focused roles”.
The company has also promoted president of customer management Southern Europe Roberto Berardi, to president consumer tissue Europe. Roberto continues to report directly to the group president Kimberly-Clark Europe, Middle East and Africa, Rob van der Merwe.
The general manager, Spain and Portugal Rosalia Portela has been promoted to vice-president feminine care Europe. She will also report to Rob van der Merwe.
Kimberly-Clark brands include Andrex toilet tissue range, Huggies nappies, Kotex feminine range and Kleenex tissues.
