Homebase.co.uk has appointed online direct marketing agency Ignite-Mail to manage its e-mail acquisition and retention programmes.
This includes taking charge of its online customer database and sending out regular monthly newsletters.
“With the growth of our database we had got to the point where it was no longer practical for us to organise the mailing internally,” says Homebase e-commerce marketing manager Karen Deacon.
“The full service that Ignite-Mail provides, including comprehensive reporting tools for our mailings, which we can access online, offers us the solution and service levels we were looking for.”
Ignite-Mail will provide both creative and technical services for Homebase, ranging from copywriting and design to the translation of e-mails into HTML. The agency will also manage in-bound responses.
