ITV.co.uk became one of the UK’s top 50 websites in April, according to new data from Nielsen/NetRatings. A national poster and TV ad campaign helped boost visits to the site, but an online version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? was the main factor, attracting 500,000 UK home surfers. The site first appeared in NetRatings’ rankings in February, following the success of its Popstars programme. The Millionaire game has more than doubled its previous peak audience.
