Flamers fail the Diary taste test

Finally, a word of thanks to the chicks at Burger King’s PR office, Nexus Choat, for responding to an appeal from hungry hacks on press day.

Desperate to ram a new product down our throats and do a “taste test” against other eateries’ chicken specials, the girls scooted round to the office to deliver a huge pile of the latest offering from the burger giant: Chicken Flamers, which allegedly contain a “poultry” amount of fat.

Unfortunately it was later discovered that the Diary’s staff were mainly vegetarian or on diets – but never fear, the guzzlers in the sales department scoffed the lot. Now that’s what we call a Chicken Run!
