New campaign from Jazz FM

Jazz FM has unveiled its first advertising campaign since appointing Nicola Young head of marketing.

The station is keeping the chameleon as its focus, but has created a new poster campaign to appeal to a younger audience.

The chameleon appears as a reflection on a pair of sunglasses and the ads carry the strapline: ‘Listen in Colour’. The ads, created by Willox Ambler Rodford Law, will run on More Group six-sheet and 48-sheet posters.

Jazz FM is 30 per cent owned by More Group owner Clear Channel. Under the terms of the deal, the station has access to 800 sites in London and the North-west for three months a year.

Young says: ‘This campaign will draw new listeners to the station and reinforce awareness among existing ones.’ The campaign breaks at the end of this week.
