ONdigital unveils interactive version of C5 quiz show 100%

Channel 5 is to broadcast an interactive version of its daytime game show, “100%”, produced by Pearson Television.

The interactive show will be broadcast daily at 1.45pm between July 9 and 13 on ONdigital, and then for a month on Sky Digital’s PlayJam channel. It has been developed by Pearson Television’s International and Enterprises division and Static 2358. Thomas Cook will sponsored the show on ONdigital.

100% is a general knowledge quiz show in which the wits of three contestants are pitted against each other, as they answer to a non-stop barrage of 100 questions. The highest percentage-scoring candidate wins.

ONdigital viewers will have the opportunity to play along with the studio contestants by using the colour fast text buttons on their remote control. Viewers will also be able to look up help text and quit the game at any time.

At the end of the show, players who have achieved a certain percentage will be invited to enter a prize draw. Thomas Cook will offer viewers the chance to win holiday vouchers to the value of &£200 each day and a top prize of &£1,000 for the week.

Static 2358’s PlayJam channel specialises in interactive games. It claims to be the world’s biggest interactive channel, with a weekly audience of 1.63 million.
