Consigned to selling pants

It’s amazing what you can pick up at a post office. In less time than it takes to lick a stamp, Consignia is already diversifying into bizarre areas, following its debut as the newly reincarnated Post Office.

The company has sealed a deal with Figleaves.com and will now be stocking – well, stockings, knickers and bras. Hopefully they won’t feature Consignia’s logo or the Queen’s head embossed into the embroidery.

The Diary just hopes that Consignia has recruited on-site medical staff – just in case old men going to pick up their pensions find their pulses set dangerously racing by the luxury lingerie for sale.
