Independent links up with travel site

Priceline.co.uk, the name-your-own-price travel and leisure website, has linked up with The Independent newspaper.

On September 18, 30,000 special edition newspapers will be sold on a name-your-own-price basis – billed as a newspaper first. They will be available from kiosks in Gatwick Airport, Liverpool Street, Paddington and Victoria stations and from branded Priceline rickshaws circulating in Central London and the City.

The promotion will be supported by a three-day campaign in The Independent, giving Priceline a front-page presence and offering readers the chance to win a holiday.
