The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has launched what it claims is the definitive website for marketers – www.connectedinmarketing.com.
The site, whichgoes live in October, hopes to be seen as “authoritative, informed and plain-spoken”. It will be continually updated to keep marketers “abreast of the latest ideas and developments taking place within all aspects of marketing”.
The site, designed by Bamber Forsyth, includes a knowledge centre containing information on subjects such as-marketing,-branding and-CRM; and an “intelligent marketing search engine” that incorporates a thesaurus. There will also be online courses for marketing and sales professionals, and support and advice for small businesses.
The new site will be linked to the CIM’s existing site – www.cim.co.uk – which is being relaunched. Both sites will offer access to a new-learning programme, recently created by CIM in conjunction with Web-based learning specialist Academee.
