Being linked to a mass murderer is no laughing matter, especially when you’ve got a corporate reputation to uphold. So the Diary has a lot of sympathy for the Creative Consortium, a design and Internet consultancy which got mistaken for a company of the same name which was making a Channel 5 documentary about serial killer Fred West.
Managing director Peter Davies says the company has received hate mail and calls from concerned clients.
Davies says:”We are definitely not involved in this film.”
On a related note, one hopes the sick jibes currently circulating about the Diary’s resemblance to Peter Sutcliffe stop immediately. And no, that doesn’t mean the black beard and bushy hair are about to be cut.
