Swatch left without head of marketing

Swatch Watches has lost its most senior marketer for the second time this year, following the recent departure of brand director Hannah Moore.

Moore, who was responsible for marketing and advertising the Swatch brand, has been replaced by marketing and sales manager Dave Edwards. It is not known whether Moore has a job to go to. Edwards will report to Swatch Group managing director Malcolm Douglas.

Earlier this year, Swatch Watches lost Quentin Higham to cosmetics company Coty. At Coty, Higham was given the position of marketing director for Coty Exports and is responsible for the European, African, Middle Eastern and Nordic markets (MW June 7).

The Swatch group also owns Rado, Omega, Calvin Klein and Tissot brands. Rado is in talks with agencies about a global advertising campaign. It is understood that the shortlist of agencies includes McCann-Erickson Amsterdam and BBDO Barcelona.
