Compass Group searches for global brand director to lead Caffe Ritazza expansion
Foodservice and hospitality company Compass Group is looking for a brand director to spearhead the global expansion of coffee chain Caffe Ritazza.
The brand director will oversee the implementation of Caffe Ritazza’s brand values across markets worldwide. The company is targeting Asia and South Africa in particular.
Compass Group’s brands include Upper Crust, Little Chef and Harry Ramsden. It also holds franchises for Burger King and Italian food outlet Sbarro. The Travelodge motel brand is also part of the group, though in May it sold its other hotel interests, London Signature, Heritage Posthouse and luxury chain Le Meridien.
This appointment marks the the final stage of the company’s retail brands push. Earlier this year it appointed Andy Emerson and Garry Craft as global brand directors for Upper Crust and convenience store Stopgap.
Compass is the world’s largest foodservice company, with annual revenues of over &£9bn. It has more than 270,000 employees working in more than 90 countries. Caffe Ritazza has more than 2,500 outlets worldwide.
