No more sleeping on the job at DiVA

Apparently agency types get a bit stressed at times. Yes, the Diary couldn’t believe it either. But employees at Ogilvy & Mather’s production arm, DiVA, get so stressed they need executive relief from a massager.

Before you all call in for the telephone number, we feel we should explain that the massager is the Shiatsu Massage Lounger, a chair designed by Sanyo.

Apparently, the chair was so successful that DiVA says productivity increased. That’s right, some employees did up to eight hours work that week.

Sadly, the chair was only on trial, so workers are now resorting to vigorously shaking each other’s chairs in order to recreate the experience.
