NatMags teams up with Boots Advantage card

The National Magazine Company (NatMags) claims that it is the first publishing company to become involved with the Boots Advantage card loyalty scheme.

Loyalty scheme customers are able to exchange 1,200 Advantage card points for a six-month subscription to titles in the NatMags’ portfolio, which includes Cosmopolitan, Harpers & Queen, She and House Beautiful.

This is the latest step for NatMags, in a partnership that it has developed with Boots over the past year. The publishing company has worked with Boots on direct mail campaigns, as well as in-store promotions with the Boots-owned Pure Beauty stores.

NatMags head of subscription marketing Karen Louth says: “Boots has recognised that NatMags’ extensive portfolio represents a perfect fit with their target market. It is vital that consumers are provided with choice and NatMags can provide a magazine appropriate for every consumer.”

This month, Boots is relaunching its loyalty card with a raft of new benefits for cardholders (MW March 28).

It is supporting the revamp with a TV ad, featuring the Boots character Clare living the life of a celebrity and redeeming her Advantage points to receive a free massage, facial, manicure and products.
