Next month sees the start of the Subbuteo World Cup; a perfect chance for all you marketing directors and agency types to prove yourselves on the pitch, without breaking sweat.

Teams of two are invited to enter the event, organised by the Leaflet Company, which begins on May 23 at Chelsea Football Club. There will be a mystery celebrity goalkeeper on hand to save penalties and, if that isn’t good enough for you, the event is sponsored by Marketing Week.

Ladbrokes will be taking bets on site, so be warned – finger tampering will be strictly monitored.
