Nestlé Rowntree advertising and media manager David Jarvis is believed to be leaving the company in June. He is not thought to have secured a new role elsewhere.
At the same time, the company is understood to be centralising its media operation in its Croydon office following an internal restructure.
Earlier this month, it emerged that director of marketing services Philip Buckman, who heads Nestlé’s media function, is also to leave. The moves are likely to mean Stuart Cox, Nestlé UK media manager in Croydon, will take over the running of the firm’s media buying and planning.
It is unclear how the media agency accounts will be affected. Mindshare handles the &£30m confectionery business and Universal McCann the &£17m beverages and &£3.3m food division. Nestlé has recently acquired the Ski and Munch Bunch brands from Northern Foods. Universal McCann was awarded the business.
Nestlé refused to comment on the departures of Buckman and Jarvis. A spokeswoman says staff are still in the process of being consulted on the changes and that a full statement will be available next week.
Last month, Nestlé relaunched its Yorkie bar, aggressively targeting men.
