Personally, I don’t see the resemblance

Oh dear, it appears the Diary has sparked a bit of a war down at Communications Team.

Two weeks ago, the Diary printed a picture of a supposed Homer Simpson look-alike – Communications Team sales director Bruce Settle, who was set up by colleague Mike Lamond.

Well, now Settle wants revenge and has put Lamond forward as an equally dodgy lookalike for Carry On legend Bernard Bresslaw.

Settle was also slightly rattled by the Diary’s implication that Lamond was senior to Settle.

“Let’s get this one straight, Mike and I are directors of Communications Team, but by way of length of service and experience, ability, general dress sense, humour, etc, I am far and away Mike’s boss.” Ouch.

The Diary hopes that its pages do not develop into a battleground for these two, obviously like-minded, japesters.
