Bluewater launches TV advertising campaign

Upmarket shopping mall Bluewater is launching a TV advertising campaign in an effort to increase visitor numbers to its 330 stores.

The Objects of Desire campaign, created by Banks Hoggins O’Shea/FCB, will break on Saturday and attempts to set Bluewater apart from other malls. It focuses on the range of products available at Bluewater, featuring close-ups of shoes, handbags and kitchen knives in different shades of blue.

A voiceover from Cold Feet actress Hermione Norris offers the tagline: “A little bit of shopping won’t bring you happiness… you need a whole day.” Media for the campaign is by Trident and the ad will run in the Meridian and Anglia South regions.
