Got any spare change ma’am?

Having read that the Queen is strapped for cash (Independent May 30), Interbrand wouldn’t dream of charging a “right royal fee” to advise the royal family on a brand name (MW May 30).

We would need to find a sponsor to come up with some cash, particularly if the new brand becomes a registered charity. We are sure Her Majesty would be prepared for association with the right kind of brand – Monarch Airlines, for instance, Royal Bank of Scotland or even Windsor & Newton. A discreet sign outside Buckingham Palace could be negotiated with the sponsor.
