MCCA client tie-up with Haystack

The Haystack Group has formed a strategic alliance with the Marketing Communications Consultants Association (MCCA) to try to bolster the latter’s client services.

The tie-up will provide support for the MCCA when it is faced with demanding briefs. Haystack managing director Suki Thompson will help to front the service externally and provide help to MCCA portfolio manager Krishma Pala.

Thompson says: “Clients often want more support than just a portfolio service. For those who do want another point of view, we are able to provide that.”

The Haystack Group, which was formed 18 months ago, has overseen a number of high-profile pitches including PowerGen, the Evening Standard and the AA.

Pala, who is one of three full-time staff at the MCCA, says: “Our membership has increased dramatically since we changed our name from the Sales Promotions Consultants Association and, as we now represent a much broader range of communications consultancies, we need to ensure we have services in place to best support and provide value for all our members.”
