Men & Motors, owned by Granada Sky Broadcasting (GSB), has teamed up with EMAP to create a television programme for EMAP weekly title Motorcycle News (MCN).

The show, also called Motorcycle News, will go live on September 20 and will initially comprise 26 episodes. It will be presented by Louise Brady, who previously hosted Men & Motors’ TT coverage.

The format will include items on all areas of the biking world, including product news, road tests, riding tips, and information on insurance and maintenance. Editorial staff from MCN will take part. While borrowing ideas and information from the print publication, the show will also feature TV-only content.

GSB director of sales for channels Craig Nayman says: “This is the beginning of a key commercial partnership and will enhance Men & Motors’ schedule.”

The channel, which is available on the Sky Digital and cable platforms, extended its broadcasting hours last June by four hours. The channel claims to reach 6.3 million viewers a month.
