Fashion company the Windsmoor Group has appointed Rob Green, marketing director of perfume and candle manufacturer Kenneth Turner, as sales and marketing director.
Green will head the newly merged retail and marketing division of the fashion company. He will be responsible for the retail, sales and marketing for Windsmoor’s brands, which include Planet, Precis Petite and Windsmoor.
He will oversee more than 2,000 employees and report to chief executive Ruth Henderson.
The company has also appointed a marketing manager, who will report to Green.
Windsmoor’s group retail operations director, Jane Sebry, was recently made redundant and head of marketing Georgina Kelly left the company without a job to go to (MW July 11). Both reported to Henderson.
Sebry is understood to have a new job elsewhere.
Early this year, the group sold its Dannimac brand to Signature Brands International for &£1.9m. Windsmoor has an annual turnover of &£150m and sells its brands mainly through concessions in UK department stores, as well as through Planet shops and retail outlets.
