It’s been a while, but here is another beauty dragged from the archives to satisfy once again the Diary’s penchant for foreign takes on marketing. Dog food, always a source of interesting ads, has given us many reasons to buy a particular brand, from keeping your dog fit and healthy to, more recently, making your Dalmatian grow colourful spots.

But on the other side of the world, a dog is a dog and a bitch is a bitch, and these ads for Nestlé’s Butch dog food brand in New Zealand use this to its full advantage.
